Cheongdamdong Street in SEOUL KOREA, Gangnam Style

Cheongdamdong Street and little history about Gangnam in SEOUL KOREA

Hi everyone^^
Have you ever heard of Cheongdamdong Street in Seoul, Korea?
Many of you would probably know Psy's Gangnam Style?
I also bet you know that Gangnam is the centre of Seoul and is wellknown for luxuries, pretty girls and the riches.

Here "Gang" means the 'river' and 'Nam' means the 'south' which come to mean the south part of the river, NOT the north.

This famous Hanriver crosses right accross the centre of city 'Seoul'.  At first, the area 'Gangnam' just meant to be the south part of the river but some 20 years later, it has become the landmark of city Seoul.  And the area called "Gangnam" also came to mean not just the south of Hanriver, but also one particular area of Seoul for the riches, pretties and all the luxuries, and for you all the plastic surgery doctors perhaps>.<
Hahaha just kidding!

I used to ilve in Gangnam some 10 years ago until I graduated highschool and before coming to New Zealand.

At the time, the area was just the normal bit of Seoul.  There was some area that was famous for those crazy helicopter moms who would do anything for their children's education and wellbeings, but wasn't that famous for the riches, pretties and luxuries.

It was actually the north of Seoul that had fames for the riches' habitation (called 'Seoungbuk-dong').

When I was 14 years old, one of my friend moved to the area now called 'Gangnam' and at the time, she was very shy to bring frirends to her place including myself as the apartment was very old and look like goast' house outside!

and now guess what?

Now I wish my mom and dad were little clever like her mom and dad!!>.<
The area had completely developed to the new landmark of Seoul and all those luckies and investors who plan to be or happen to be in the area can now officially be called the riches!!!!

It was like they bought the house for the price of brass and some years later became the 1st class diamonds!!!! >.<

Those who had moved out from Gangnam area back then now finds it very hard to move in back! Because the price measures are absolutely different!!!

Now about Cheongdam street~

This famous Cheongdam Street is the center of all the luxuries!!!!!!
You see all the world famous luxury brands for bags, wedding dresses, clothes and etc.Ride a bus crossing the area and I bet you that you will see all the luxury, super expensive cars on the road everywhere you go!!!!!

It is almost like Toyota corollas that you see every seconds on the motorway!!!

Here are some photos of Cheongdam Street~
I'll come back with some more pics of Gangnam and some other famous areas in Seoul Korea.

TONYMOLY Berry Berry Magic Lip Tints/Green Apple(Pinky)

TONYMOLY Berry Berry Magic Lip Tint Review:

                                                            Hi all~

It’s freezing cold here in Korea,!>.<
I hope you are all well wherever you are in this huge but cute globe!
I’m going to write a short review for TONYMOLY Magic Lip Tint (Green Apple).
I tried this little cute tint pot out of my curiosity because it appears to be transparent green color but the product description says that its color changes to natural pink!

I think it's kinda new worldwide trend for any cosmetic companies to make these color changing lipsticks and tints!
Yesterday, I almost bought the SET of lipsticks from 'Mood Matcher',the Company based on USA (as far as I know) that contains 10 color changing lipsticks on TV show^^
Many of them are stick form but this Tonymoly tint is in this little cute pot and I can actually see through the inside. I think... that was quite an appealing point for me to try!

It is wrapped with this plastic seal as shown below.
The lead is simple in black with tonymoly printed.

It contains quite a lot in the pot compared to other tints in a pot form.

It even looks delicious! I couldn't resist to try this little pot!

Its color changes to this natural pink fairly quickly after it gets applied onto your skin.
This shows only 1 time application pigmentation, but you can apply it more to get  the thicker color and it actually gets thick to more bright, cheerful pink!

I was in a hurry and didn't quite feel like wearing a thick makeup but rather wanted a fair natural makeup, so this morning I just applied it very lightly to get a light natural pink.

Somehow my facial expression come out to be this >.<
I appear to be a very stubborn lady which is not true at all as I don't like being serious at all!
I really need to be serious somtimes, especially some life changing events happens!
Most of the time, I'm still not!  Some Good Some Bad..

anyway back to the review~

I look like sick above ;(

Now, am I looking little better with this pinky lips?
well..I hope so^^

Overall, I like the compact and simple black packaging for the lead in a transparent pot and its green color. I can adjust the color density from the light to thick pigmentation depending on the occasions.  When it applied lightly, I like its color maybe it's just my personal preferences.  I think  it provides a pink color but some special cheerful and my pink color! I mean ...I've tried many other pink color lipsticks and tints! and they are all pink in color terms, but I specially like this pink^^
I'm sorry but my English is short for more perhaps >.<

Some beauty bloggers would like to use it as a cheek blusher but for me, its texture is little sticky to apply onto the cheecks.

I recommend to use your fingers to spread the tint onto your lips.

Overall, its texture is little sticky but cotains Vitamin E derivatives to moist and provide nutritions onto your lips (better suited at the winter). Its color pigmentation is very satisfying as it can present from thick to light pink color. Its price ($8~9) is also very reasonable for the size.

You can buy the tint here:

Pore Magic Cover BB Pact SPF 35 PA++

Holika Holika Pore Magic Cover  BB Pact

Lightweight Pore Cover BB Pact

Hi all~
I'm going to write a review about Holika Holika Pore Magic Cover BB Pact (#02 Natural Beige).
Currently I've been using a couple of pacts from Lioele range including the most popular "Skin Fix Powder Pact".  Unfortunately, I don't quite like Skin Fix Powder Pact.  Recently, I'm kinda going crazy about Holika Holika range of products >.< (it used to Lioele range!)
At first, I thought that Holika Holika wouldn't be my type because that would be only for much younger girls as I'm not in my early 20's or somthing!

Perhaps I was absolutely wrong!!!!
I've already written about  Holika Holika Water March Moisture Full Cream Blue/Green days ago. Also I'm in my trial stage for many other Holika Holika product range including 3 second starter which I find very good! My skin actually have become much more smooth and my pores gotten minimized! (Yes! It is true! at least for me!! But surely yes!)

Oops! What I'm trying to say here is that if you aren't quite aware of Holika Holika or think that they are only for younger girls in their 10's or 20's, I would say think again!!!!

Beside skin care range, out of my curiosity for Holika Holika BBs and Pacts, I found myself opening this Pore Magic Cover BB Pact in one morning >.<

The product claims:

This Holika Holika Pore Magic Cover BB Pact is a lightweight BB pact that perfectly covers blemishes and other imperfections. It evens out the skintone like porcelain with high coverage. Berry Mix Complex and mineral water helps nourish the skin.

Here is my shop's page for the product^^

Holika Holika is the sister brand from Enprani and this is the pact from Strawberry Pore Magic Cover Line.
It's metalic pink packaging is so cute★
It has a strawberry imprint on the front!
It comes in shades, either #01 Light Beige or #02 Natural Beige.
I have yellowish skin color and so, Natural Beige soothes me (as shown on the pic below)

It has a softy puff inside and the puff picks up the powder well.

See the cute strawberry imprint! ^^

This is just the tiny bit of powder I apply><
I tend to apply a lot to my entire face.
I look like wearing a mask at first and then I pat my entire face with my fingers about 100times to help powder
absorb into my skin.  I  can then have a silky and natural looking skin.
I do this because I have an oily skin and so my makeup easily get smudge or absorbed into skin.
If I don't reapply the powder and fix makeup, 3-4 hours later, I will almost come to have a bare-like skin>.<

Some says that this powder well covers pores and blemishes but may make you look wearing a mask.
But for me, it shouldn't be a problem as it gets naturally blended well with the skin tone after being patted.
As long as it covers my pores and blemishes well, it is perfectly okay for me.
I actually quite like this powder because I find this powder offers an extra coverage for pores and other blemishes and lasts LONG.
To test the powder, I didn't reapply it for some 7-8 hours and was surprised to find that it was still there^^
Maybe it is due to my patting practice but compared to other pacts I've been using at the same time, it works excellent!

Any questions about the pact? You are more than welcome!!!!

Thank you for visiting and reading!

Yeah~ I'm falling in love with Holika Holika~♥

Holika Holika Water March Moisture Full Cream Blue/Green

Holika Holika Water March Moisture Full Cream Blue/Green

Hi eveyone~
I've been using this Holika Holika Water March Moisture Full Cream for 2 weeks and now want to share my review.

This Water March Moisture Full Cream comes in two versions.  You can choose either  'Blue' or 'Pink' jar.

It comes in a jumbo-sized jar which contains 120ml of cream.  I have quite big hands and the cream makes them look small^^ But truly, it is a HUGE size Cream.  I didn't care or notice about the size of the jar or the volume for some time and started to realise some time later thinking "Wow!" I see it's still a FULL in the jar!  For sure, it will last for a long time!

They are perfectly factory sealed as shown on the pic. No worries, No doubts when you buy them online as long as it comes in sealed as shown:)

See what it's like when it gets opened, now the seal's off. It is a gel-like cream with white beeds inside the cream which easily melts onto skin when applied onto face.  I was curious what that white beeds were for or contained but found no answers. Maybe I have to dig more.

See the white beeds in the blue gel-like cream!
That!!! What I'm curious about!!!  What are those white beeds?

They are not so rich in its texture like other highly nutritious creams which often leaves sticky feelings or residues on the face after an application.
That is I think because this cream aims to provide moisture for oily/combination skin which in turn bring about the result of soothing the skin troubles at the same time caring for pores.

You will see below my skin type.  I have an oily skin but get often dehydrated on my cheeks.
I also use Tonymoly Form Cleansing for Acne as my skin is prone skin troubles.
But I don't use it everyday as it tends to dry out my skin after use.  However  it does mitigate my skin troubles for sure.

Now see the white beeds getting blended into the blue cream^^

Back to Water March Cream, see when it applied.

This is my skin before applying the cream.  See my huge pores and dry skin!!!
The Green Jar clearly said that it provides moisture and cares for pores! That is why I chose the Green one rather than the Pink:)

*The pink jar is for providing moisture and nutritions into skin.

This is AFTER . Certainly No modificatino to the pics. My skin looks super moisturized!

Due to the change of weather, recently my skin's gotten so dry. I've been also using the Holika Holika 3" Starter which I'll post a review later.

Overall, it does what it says it does. It provides moisture into skin.  I like its freshness and a gel-like texture which doesn't normally leave sticky feelings or residues.  I applied quite a lot than usual hoping to rescue my skin but it didn't bring me troubles in the following days.

However I'm not too quite sure how it does care for my pores.

My pores are still huge >.<

Oh..but my skin texture is little bit more smooth than before.

I'm also happy with its huge size as mentioned before.

Reasonable Price with Huge 120ml!

What I love:

It does certainly moisturize my skin!

What I don't like:

I need more descriptions about ingredients and how it works. I want to know about white beeds in the cream and also about how it cares for pores.
I hope they can provide more detailed descriptions.

If  you'd like to give it a try, you may drop by my ebay store!

Thank you for reading and have a great day!

Etude House Mint Cooling Eye's Cream

When I first learnt about it, I was so eager to try it as I have problems of dark circles and swelling around the eyes.  Especially, I'm so crazy about  anything that could help me for my everyday swelling eyes around.  Every morning when I see the mirror, I'll be so happy all day if I happen to have less puffy eyes around.. Yeah..that's right. My eyes around almost stays in puffy state, and it's hard to see non-puffy eyes around.

It didn't mean that I expected so high for the product though.  Because before trying the product, I also read some reviews about the product, some says it's good some says it's useless.

Anyway, feeling desperate for my puffy eyes around, I started to using it every morning after basic skin care but before applying makeup and every night after basic skin care.

When I first applied it, I feel little cool around the eyes, not so cool though. I applied it almost circling around the eyes with lots of hopes^-^

I didn't see the dramatic results for the first couple of days.  However I slowly started to see the difference after 3-4 days.  It is not so dramatic yet, but it surely does work for me. My eyes tend to
less swell and look much more vibrant especially the day after almost staying all night up.

Overall, so far so good. I'm happy with the product and will keep using it hoping to have non-puffy eyes around. Puffy eyes around almost became one of my things, but to be honest I'm sick of it^-^

I recommend it if you have tired looking eyes or really tired and surely for puffy eyes around.

Thank you for reading and stay happy~*

Lioele Cheek Beam Blusher #01 Pink in Peach

It isn't heavy in packaging, so pinky just like any other Lioele products. It comes in a simple plastic container which you can see through inside for the different color choice.  I've tried #01 Peach Pink or Pink in Peach.  It is kinda dusky pink. It has #02 Baby Pink that is much lighter in color.

It is so creamy in texture (I couldn't help touching it as soon as opening^-^)
Its main ingredients are sher butter and so it is very rich, moisturizing and creamy as you can see.  I almost felt like applying some to my dry hands^-^

I applied some on my skin for you to see (not the face though-feel shy 2day^-^)
I don't have fair white skin color as you see in the pic^-^
I used my fingers to apply it as it is a cream type blusher. It is best applied with fingers.
It feels so smooth and is well blended.  After finishing with the powder, I look much more vibrant with natural color on my cheek.
I think it is particularly suited for dry skin though as it has so creamy texture and moisturizing. It kinda warms up my tired-looking skin as I haven't been able to sleep well lately.  For me, blushing my cheek is a must to look even tiny bit vibrant and alive^-^
